Drake University Athletics is accepting applications for the position of Coordinator of Athletics Administration. Responsibilities will include performing work of highly confidential nature in support of the Department of Athletics. This position will manage projects and timelines, plan staff retreats and agendas, direct football and select sport travel operations, athletics department event management including Drake Relays, donation and ticket request workflow management, onboarding and exit processes, serve as liaison to Morrison Special Collections, produce the D-Club Letterwinner newsletter, and maintain alumni database.

More detail:

• Football Operations responsibilities including planning and implementing meals for football team during training camp in August, banquet and alumni event management, recruiting visits and travel arrangements for select recruits, travel arrangements including transportation, lodging, meeting room reservations and meals, including reconciliation of purchasing card transactions. Travel with football to away games.
• Project administration with the Director of Athletics and members of Senior Staff including decisions effecting project timelines and layouts. Schedule senior staff retreats and agenda management.
• Collaborate with select sport team coaches on travel ranging in planning for arrangements including transportation, lodging, meeting room reservations and meals, reconciliation of purchasing card transactions based on team and coach needs.
• Coordinate athletic department donor events including but not limited to pregame hospitality at football and basketball games, annual golf outing, men’s and women’s basketball year-end banquets, student-athlete welcome back picnic, student-athlete
• Manage donation and ticket requests for home games in coordination with Athletics Ticket Office, Marketing, and Compliance.
• Event support for Drake Relays as assigned by a member of the Relays staff, including Drake Relays Hall of Fame celebration.
• Serve as liaison to the Paul F. Morrison Special Collections archive at Cowles Library, coordinate the writing and distribution of the D-Club Letter winner Newsletter, maintain and update alumni database in coordination with Drake Alumni.
