The head coach responsibilities range from the planning, recruiting, coaching, developing, implementing, communication and administering of his/her/their program to achieve University and Department objectives to teaching duties within the Department of Athletics. The Head Coach will exhibit behavior that enhances the respect for the student-athletes, the athletics program, the University, and yourself in the conduct of your professional responsibilities. You are required to direct and control your program in accordance with NCAA, WIAC, and University rules and regulations. Violation of University, NCAA or Conference rules on the part of Athletic Department personnel may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment. The position reports directly to the Athletic Director.
- Three years coaching, playing or related experience in Cross Country
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university - Demonstrated strong commitment to athletes as students - Experience with photoshop/graphic design & social media platforms - Supporting students from diverse and multicultural backgrounds - Personnel Administration - Fundraising - Community Relations - Media Relations - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
