Bryant & Stratton College-Ohio, a NJCAA, Division II member of the Ohio Community College Athletic Association, is searching for an Athletic Director for the Solon Campus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary spokesperson for the athletics program.
• Develop, implement, and manage a strategic vision for the athletics program.
• Accomplish stated goals and measurable objectives for the athletics program.
• Ensure alignment of the athletics program with the mission of the College; regularly engage internal and external stakeholders.
• Hire, manage, and evaluate the college’s athletic staff (administrative and coaching).
• Assist with development of annual budget for athletics program.
• Oversee and supervise all regular department operations associated with scheduling, sports information, team travel, equipment purchasing and maintenance, facility and event management, and athletic training coverage.
• Coordinate the fundraising and marketing effort of the athletics program.
• Promote the College and its athletics program.
• Assess the athletics program regularly for planning, continual improvement, and to enhance and maximize the student athlete experience.
• Oversee the recruitment of prospective student-athletes including working with Admissions to create appropriate correspondence and schedule on-campus visits. Monitor recruitment and roster goals of all coaches and support them in achieving those goals. Collaborate with athletics staff to promote academic success, retention, and graduation for all student-athletes through partnerships with the campus community
• Ensure the compliance of all Athletics Department associates and student-athletes with the laws, policies, rules and regulations governing the College and its associates, as well as the rules of the National Junior Collegiate Athletic Association (NJCAA) and the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC).
• Represent the College nationally to the NJCAA and regionally to the OCCAC.
• Represent the College in matters relating to athletics, including College and Alumni Association events.
• Demonstrate an appreciation for and commitment to diversity, inclusion, and the principles of equity and Title IX.

Minimum Requirements

• College athletics compliance experience
• Working knowledge of NJCAA bylaws, interpretations and regulations, and an ability to communicate this to student-athletes, coaches, staff and other members of the community
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational, computer and communication skills with an ability to multi-task
• Must be detail-orientated and must be comfortable using various computer programs (i.e., Microsoft Office, Banner, LSBDi, etc.)
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Valid Driver's License
