Head Men's and Women's Cross Country Coach (part-time)

Coaching - Cross Country
This is a part-time position reporting to the Director of Athletics and Recreational Services. This position is responsible for all facets of developing and maintaining a successful NCAA Division III Men’s and Women’s Cross Country program. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: oCoaching and teaching the sport of cross country while maintaining compliance with all NCAA, Conference and University rules, regulations, and policies. oRecruiting and retaining athletically and academically qualified student-athletes. oMonitoring student-athlete academic success. oAdhering to all safety standards to ensure the well-being of student-athletes. oHiring, supervising, evaluating and overseeing the cross country coaching staff. oScheduling of competitions and completing other duties associated with the execution of the cross country schedule. oAssisting with budget administration, equipment inventory and purchasing, as well as conducting fundraising efforts as needed. oCarrying out an additional administrative duty for the department as assigned by the Director of Athletics & Recreational Services.

Bachelor’s degree is required. Three years of coaching experience at the college level (Head or Assistant) or three years as a Head Coach at the high school level is preferred. This position is contingent upon satisfactory results to a University background check.
