Nyack College - a NCAA Division II institution located in Jersey City, NJ - member of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC). Nyack College is looking to hire a motivated individual for our Baseball team for the 2022-23 academic year, beginning in August 2022, renewable for a second term the following academic year. The successful candidate must have a dedicated life of faith as a Christian, with the expectations of working in a Christian school environment, as well as a strong work ethic, enthusiasm and the goal of working in the coaching world or a related field in the long term.

*Practice and game preparation and implementation of drills, skills teaching, etc. *Aid the coaching staff in character development of the team *Comfortable with leading team devotionals *Be eligible to drive vans to and from games and practices *Recruiting, which includes: phone calls, texts, emails, off-campus evaluations *Social Media presence and content creator for our programs platforms *Living in the dormitory in a room with other graduate assistants

 

• Acceptance into a Nyack College graduate program and maintenance of a 3.0 GPA.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills. 

• A playing/coaching resume with essential baseball experience. 
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• The desire to develop the whole student-athlete: athletically, academically, socially and spiritually.
