Liberty University, a Division I member of the ASUN Conference, is seeking an Assistant Coach for the men’s golf program. This is a full-time, 12-month position open immediately. Liberty seeks a coach who demonstrates a strong commitment to the Christian faith and to the mission and values of Liberty University. In addition to a strong knowledge of the rules and regulations set forth by the NCAA, the successful candidate is expected to assist in all the following areas: Administration functions; Practice and player development; Team travel; Recruiting as permitted by NCAA rules and regulations; Attendance to community events; Duties assigned by the head coach.

A bachelor’s degree; Successful history in coaching (preferably at the NCAA Division I level) for minimum of 3 years; Ability to instruct and teach the game of golf; Strong leadership qualities which include being self-motivated and organized; Willingness to travel more than 70 days per year for recruiting and team competitions; Efficient computer and administration skills; Strong oral and written communication skills.
