About Mount Holyoke College
Mount Holyoke is an undergraduate liberal arts college for women that is gender diverse with 2,200 students and 220 faculty members, over half of whom are women and one-fifth of whom are persons of color. With a long history of strong science programs and vigorous student-faculty research, the College is located about 80 miles west of Boston in the Connecticut River Valley and is a member of the Five College Consortium consisting of Amherst, Hampshire, Mount Holyoke, and Smith Colleges and the University of Massachusetts, Amherst through which the campuses share courses, faculty members, and many academic programs. The College is committed to fostering multicultural diversity and awareness in its faculty, staff, and student body within an increasingly diverse campus, which is deeply engaged in an anti-racism plan of action.
