General Responsibilities: The responsibilities of the Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach are to conduct all aspects of the women’s program within the philosophy and guidelines set forth by Alderson Broaddus University, the NCAA, and the Mountain East Conference. The expectations of the assistant women’s soccer coach include but are not limited to: commitment to the mission of Alderson Broaddus University, meeting the established recruiting goals of the athletic department, conducting practices and meetings, assisting with budget oversight, travel planning, fundraising, and completion of any duties assigned by the Head Women’s Soccer Coach and the Director of Athletics.
1.)Meet the assigned recruiting goals for each year. 2.)Assistant in the development of the players. 3.)Monitor the academic progress of student-athletes within the women’s soccer program. 4.)Help ensure eligibility of student athletes in the women’s soccer program. 5.)Assist with the retention of a satisfactory number of recruited student athletes. 6.)Monitor the social behavior of student-athletes within the women’s soccer program. 7.)Ability to exercise good judgment in problem resolution situations. 8.)Assist with women’s soccer operations including equipment management, laundry, and video. 9.)Perform duties as assigned by the Head Women’s Soccer Coach. 10.)Participate in community and campus life opportunities. 11.)Any additional duties as assigned by the Head Women’s Soccer Coach or the Director of Athletics.
Term of appointment: This is a 10-Month Contract with responsibilities beginning August 1 through May 31
Compensation Information: 1)Stipend: $1,600.00 per month for 10 months (pro-rated when applicable) 2)Course Waiver Fee: 100% tuition remission. 3)Other Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision coverage available to purchase.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Previous college coaching experience.
Knowledge or experience in recruiting student athletes.
