Department: Athletics Work type: staff full-time exempt Location: Huntsville, AL Categories: Athletics & Fitness Purpose of the Position: The Assistant Coach of Men's Lacrosse will assist the Head Lacrosse Coach in team management and administration and reinforce the athletics department and university goals. Duties/Responsibilities Train and teach student-athletes both on and off of the field Recruit and evaluate quality student athletes Help to maintain compliance with NCAA departmental and University rules and regulations Assist in establishing game plans Scout opponents Coordinate Team Travel Maintain correspondence with recruits Assist with preparing the budget and program fundraising efforts Coordinate film exchange Coordinate game day management for home and visiting teams Coordinate equipment purchase and maintenance Maintain positive public relationships with the university and the community Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience Must have coaching experience Must possess excellent communication skills Desired Qualifications: Master’s degree in a related field is preferred Knowledg...e of Sports Management is desired College coaching experience is preferred Published Salary (if available): $28,000 - $30,000 Advertised: Jun 06 2022 Central Daylight Time Applications close:
