The qualified applicant will report to the Head Coach of Women's Lacrosse. This is a full-time, ten-month position beginning August 2022. Preference will be given to applicants who can bring diverse perspectives to this growing department and who are motivated to help students succeed.
The individual will assist in all phases of the women's lacrosse program including competition and practice planning (traditional and non-traditional season), mentoring of students, recruitment and development of student-athletes, equipment, contests, social media and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. Additionally, a thorough understanding of and accountability to NCAA, NEWMAC, and institutional rules and regulations is necessary.
Interested applicants for this position will have a Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred), from a regionally accredited institution in Physical Education or a related discipline. Preference will be given to applicants with college coaching experience and college playing experience. A valid driver's license and CPR/AED is required. Applicants should have a commitment to work in a dynamic work setting with a diverse student population.
