Some important details: •6 Points Sports Academy is an overnight camp held at Asheville School in Asheville, North Carolina. •Spend your day on a beautiful campus in the Blue Ridge Mountains. •Campers and staff come from all over the country – 35 different states and 7 different countries. •We are seeking experienced, passionate, knowledgeable, fun, and inspirational coaches with collegiate or high school coaching experience. •We are looking specifically for a coach who can work at camp for session 1, which runs from Sunday June 17 - Sunday July 3 (exactly 2 weeks).

•All staff live at camp and enjoy an immersive, community focused experience. •Salary begins at $1150 per week (depending on experience); compensation includes housing and meals - with an additional travel stipend available. •Campers range from 9 - 16 years old, and from recreational to travel players. •Head Coaches are supported by staff of assistant coaches. •Our head coaches are not required to be Jewish, as we are a community that is welcoming and inclusive of campers and staff from all backgrounds.

The Head Coach supervises each sports major and provides a challenging and fun environment for every camper and staff member, no matter the skill level. A Head Coach understands the need to not only improve skill level but also to create a fun – and warm – environment that enables all athletes to succeed. A Head Coach supervises the assistant coach / counselors assigned to the sports major. A Head coach should possess mastery of his/her respective sport; have an established, successful methodology and be able to assess athlete skill levels, address areas of improvement and establish individual goals for athletes. A Head Coach should be patient, compassionate, and approachable, serving as a mentor for all coaches. A Head Coach should have a clear understanding of the mission and vision of camp.

Our coaches have significant coaching experience at the college or high school level. Residential camp experience is desirable.
