-Provides overall general leadership to the women's rowing program including all student-athletes and staff.

-Coaches, develops, and implements player and team development through practice and conditioning activities.

-Identifies, recruits, and retains high quality student-athletes.

-Organizes, schedules, and conducts all practices and games.

-Organizes and plans all daily operations of the program including but not limited to team travel and equipment procurement.

-Organizes and manages scholarship and operating budgets within University and NCAA rules and guidelines.

-Provides general oversight for compliance with all NCAA rules by promoting an atmosphere of compliance.

-In conjunction with the Academic Support Office, provide support and monitoring of Student-Athlete academic progress.

-Assists with performing general public relations and fund-raising activities for the women's rowing program and Athletic Department.

-Completes other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

-Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution.

-3 years of collegiate coaching experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

-Master's degree from an accredited institution.

-NCAA Division I collegiate coaching experience.

Alternately, the successful candidate may possess any equivalent combination of experience and training, which provides knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the essential job functions. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

-Demonstrated experience driving a rowing trailer with safe driving record, subject to background check.

-Strong organizational skills.

-Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

-Ability to be flexible with work schedule.

-Proficiency in the use of computers and knowledge of MS Office Suite.
