Quincy University is seeking applications for a Graduate Assistant Men’s/Women’s Soccer Coach.  Quincy University is a four year institution located in Quincy, IL competing as a member of NCAA Division II and the Great Lakes Valley Conference.  This is a graduate assistant coach position with responsibilities inside both the QU men’s and women’s soccer programs.

• Duties and Responsibilities:
  
  Assist/lead training sessions while ensuring that all appropriate safety guidelines and standards are maintained. Perform specific coaching responsibilities during athletic events.
• Assigned administrative responsibilities within the daily operations of the Quincy University soccer programs.
• Scout and recruit quality student-athletes under the guidance and direction of the head coach and coordinate all recruiting activities with the head coach.
• Assist the monitoring of student athletes’ academic progress and demonstrate a positive interest in their academic progress.
• Work with student-athletes to monitor team rules and regulations regarding conduct, appearance, and behavior.
• Represents the Quincy University Soccer Programs at various institutional and public activities.
• Maintain current driver’s license plus CPR and First Aid Certifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Enrolled in Quincy University Master’s Program.
• Collegiate playing/coaching experience required with goalkeeper background preferred
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Flexible working hours (nights and weekends).
