Reporting to the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Mental Health, Wellness and Performance, the Mental Health Office Coordinator/Athletics Social Worker works with TUWell staff to coordinate comprehensive health and wellness services to Division I collegiate student-athletes. This position is responsible for coordinating and scheduling appointments for TUWell clinicians; triaging referrals through brief clinical assessments to determine the level of care and disposition; intervening with students in crisis and providing support, resources, and information; keeping an up-to-date database of community referrals; and delivering outreach to university and community partners, providers and resources. The Mental Health Office Coordinator will perform other duties as assigned.
