Oakland University is a Division I program committed to academics and athletic excellence. Our Athletic Department is looking for a highly organized, driven and detail oriented individual to fill the position of Athletics Facility and Event Coordinator. This position will manage all aspects of facility and event management for designated seasonal sports, facility rentals, championship events and other tasks as assigned. This position reports to the Facility and Event Director. The ideal candidate should exhibit outstanding organizational and customer service skills as they will be interacting with the general public and athletics staff on a regular basis. This person must have a proven track record for prioritizing and completing tasks on a timely basis and must have the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail.

Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Minimum of two years of event and/or facility management within intercollegiate athletics is required.
Candidate must be willing to keep flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Must have a positive attitude throughout and a willingness to engage in a variety of detail-oriented tasks.
Must be self-motivated, reliable and communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including coaches/athletes, event staff, administration, visiting teams, officials, etc.
Must perform all job duties in a manner consistent with the NCAA, Conference and University rules, regulations, ordinances, policies, procedures and guidelines.
Frequent lifting requiring the execution of up to sixty pounds of force to move and use supplies, use of cleaning aids and equipment, including set-up and tear down of athletic facilities, daily building management and maintenance.
Must have a valid driver's license and a driving record acceptable to the University's Insurance Carrier.
