Job Summary This position supports Texas A&M University—Kingsville’s long and proud athletic tradition by directing increased exposure for the athletics department through media platforms. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: strategically directing the athletics department’s media relations, communications, and promotions; developing, creating and distributing creative content; managing press areas and game day media relations; management, retention, and recruitment of full-time and student media relations staff; liaison to the conference office; and the streaming and production of home events. This position reports to the Executive Director of Intercollegiate Athletics & Campus Recreation, serves as a member of the athletic department’s executive team.
