The Competitive Program Director leads Tri-City's strong Competitive Program, with the support of the competitive team leadership and under the direction of the Executive Director.
The Competitive Program Director:
Will be responsible and accountable for the day-to-day operations, communication, and direction of our Competitive Program.
Will direct and lead our Competitive Team leadership and coaching staff, including scheduling, budgeting, mentorship, discipline, training & development.
Will guide us to having the best possible program, keeping with our overall mission and vision.
Will accurately forecast, set pricing and meet budget expectations for the Competitive Program.
Will continually measure the program's success through surveys and internal reviews.
Will be responsible for creating the best possible environment to maximize player development through programming, evaluation, and development--and ensure members are enjoying the program.
Will be responsible for player and coach evaluation.
Will be responsible (along with program leadership) for team rosters, tournament participation, and timely communication to everyone in the organization.
Will always advocate for our club's mission, vision, and by-laws.
Will be a strong leader in our community through community engagement, speaking opportunities, and being part of soccer culture events.
Will be a strong supporter of the entire region's soccer community, fostering strong relationships with local schools, colleges, and other clubs.
Will lead and/or direct all conflict resolution within the program, including addressing parent concerns appropriately.
Will be ultimately responsible for adherence to all club (and soccer governing bodies) requirements related to HR, insurance, and other concerns.
Will update the Executive Director as requested.
The ideal candidate will have a strong soccer and business background and will be a positive role model for our members and coaches, and key stakeholders.
The Competitive Program Director will be supported by our Technical Director, coaching leadership, Competitive Administrator, Registrar and office team.
The Competitive Program Director will have the discretion to guide the future of our program, within the restrictions of our budget.
Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred. Minimum eight years of soccer experience. Minimum of three years of management experience. Must pass a background check and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States upon hire.
