Part-time Employee (20-30 hrs a week)
Location: San Francisco, CA
Seeking passionate customer service individuals and soccer enthusiasts as a general manager for adult soccer leagues in San Francisco, CA.
As a KICKIT365 general manager you will organize and oversee the daily operations of the league. You will be the one to ensure that our business is well-coordinated and productive by managing its procedures and providing excellent customer on-site at league games and events.
Oversee schedules for referees, soccer leagues, and activities to meet KICKIT365 mission and values, serve KICKIT365 members and the community, and attract new members and participants to the league. Supervise, train & evaluate field assistants. Collaborate with Executive Directors to maximize use of venue space. Attend staff and referees meetings as required. Collaborate with the Executive Director to create a comprehensive marketing plan for programs and social events. Assist in oversight of physical locations and maintenance of equipment. Other duties as assigned.
Greet all members and guests upon entering the facility/area and provide direction as necessary.
Provide courteous and friendly guest service to all guests.
Assist all members and guests in registration & check-in processes.
Be knowledgeable about prices, leagues, and events.
Resolve all guest concerns and complaints and/or direct to the appropriate Manager.
Complete a variety of clerical duties (filing, data entry, etc.)
Ability to maintain regular and effective communication with other staff and guests.
Ensure league equipment and supplies are prepared for the next day such as balls, pinnies, first aid supplies etc
Wash and sanitize equipment
Laundering pinnies and equipment as needed
Maintain cleanliness of any shared equipment
Report major damages and oversee repairs
Secure equipment at night in storage facility
Manage supply inventory
Event Set Up/Tear Down-Setting up and tearing down tables and any other necessary equipment as needed per event.
Transport equipment from storage facility to fields on a nightly basis
Attend and complete all scheduled staff meetings and training.
Administer first aid and emergency procedures as needed.
Properly submit behavioral and incident reports.
Maintain proper reports and attendance records.
Submit scores after league games in league software
Know and enforce the facility's policies and procedures.
Complete special projects, daily assignments and other duties as directed by Supervisor. Duties include, but are not limited to organizing storage areas, deep cleaning of areas, making outbound calls/emails/text, creating documents, managing an information/sales table, assisting with customer merchandise pick-ups & selling apparel items.
All other miscellaneous duties as assigned by Supervisor
Flexible schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays) and regular attendance necessary.
Must be able to work weeknights between 4 pm - 11 pm and Sunday mornings
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Must have excellent guest services skills.
Must be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize.
Ability to remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situations.
Must be respectful and friendly with our athletes, guests, visitors, spectators, leaders and fellow Team Members.
Must work well with others.
Must take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and facility.
Must have working smart phone with internet connection
Previous soccer experience - either as a player, coach or referee
Knowledgeable about all FIFA soccer rules
Commitment to the safety and wellbeing of others.
Must have reliable transportation and be able to transport soccer gear as needed
Must currently live within 20 miles of San Francisco, CA
Successful candidate will need to complete and pass a background check before being hired
Must have a valid California driver’s license
Maintain covid-19 vaccinations as required by law
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Must be 18 years old or older.
PREFERRED (BUT NOT REQUIRED) QUALIFICATIONS:
First Aid and CPR certified
Above average knowledge of social media platforms such as facebook, instagram and twitter
Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, business or event management related field.
Soccer coaching license
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to carry equipment and push/pull/lift 50-80 lbs
Will be required to stand for extended periods of time.
Able to enter information on computers.
