The Account Executive, Collegiate Athletics will maximize penetration into the company’s target market of Division 1 and other NCAA accredited college and university athletics programs. The position involves the building of extensive personal relationships, and the management of all aspects of cultivation, solicitation, and negotiation with target customers during the entire course of the sales cycle.
Promote/sell/secure orders from prospective customers for our platform, products, and associated professional services.
Conduct demonstration of the platform and products described above, and any additional and/or partner products released/offered by the company.
Prepare proposals and serve as the final responsible party for delivery of those proposals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Create leads, build pipeline, and drive deal flow to close net new business
Manage your pipeline opportunities to equal or exceed your quarterly quota
Follow up on potential clients leads that have been referred by marketing
Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations that convey the value proposition of our solutions
Lead the efforts to be a client champion as they travel through their sales journey
Utilize consultative sales skills to draw out goals, recommend solutions and set clear tactics that drive impact for our client’s business
Actively use CRM and various sales tools to manage pipeline and keep highly accurate records on prospects and clients
Collaborate with Marketing to maximize the targeting of our messages, active campaigns, and develop the appropriate target segments
Provide feedback to Product Management, Client Success and other teams for process and product improvements
Keep educated on the competition, the collegiate athletics marketplace, and newsworthy issues within the space

2+ years of sales experience in a SaaS or Collegiate Athletics environment
Established track record of hitting goals and managing a sales pipeline
