St. Charles FC is looking for a qualified individual to run and administer our Juniors Academy Introductory Program. Candidates must demonstrate professionalism and be an exemplary role model. The Introductory Program Director, in many cases, will be the first point of contact for players and parents in learning about STC FC. This person will play an active role in the growth, success and impact of STC FC in the community.
This is a key position that includes oversight of all facets of the Juniors Academy Introductory Program. Some of the main functions of this role are: management, marketing, administration, accounting, customer/community relations, communication, budgeting, registration, planning.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum 3 years youth soccer club coaching experience and 1 year of management/leadership experience. This position will be primarily working with 4-8 year old boys and girls players of various ability levels in a camp/clinic setting. In addition, they will work closely with senior club leadership to develop, execute and maintain the Introductory Program. The candidate will possess good written and verbal communication skills in the areas of staff, player and parent engagement. Be proficient on the computer with Power Point, Excel, Word as well as club registration platforms LeagueApps, GotSport. Knowledge of the local youth soccer landscape is a big plus. Salary will be commensurate with experience and skillset. Must pass a background check, have a valid driver license and reliable transportation.
Ability to work independently within the Jrs Academy Program Structure
Available 3-4 days per week and on weekends for training/games
Planning, preparing and executing training sessions that are age and ability appropriate
Establish and foster relationships with key figureheads in the soccer community
In addition to on field coaching hours there will be administrative duties, staff meetings, club functions
Primarily working with 4-8 yr old players in a camp/clinic setting
Budgetary forecasting, planning, implementation and execution
Convert players from Juniors Intro Program into our Juniors Academy teams
Represent and promote STC FC in the community and develop positive working relationships with other organizations, business’, and government entities.
Oversee marketing and communication delivery to maximize program participation
Develop, train and supervise staff and volunteers
Develop, plan, implement systems and procedures to promote program growth, safety, participation, retention, promotion
Interface with other club leaders: Boys & Girls Directors, Juniors Academy Director
Knowledge of computers/software as related to sports
Short term (seasonal) and long term (annual) planning
Obtain/Maintain First Aid/CPR/AED certifications
Excellent verbal and written communication
Organize and direct program meetings. Ability to make oral presentations.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in teaching, physical education, early childhood development or related field/experience equivalent
One year of management experience in a sports club/league/teaching setting
USSF license preferred, Grass Roots Coaching license/equivalent and experience will be considered.

St. Charles 2020 FC is a full-service youth soccer club located in St. Charles MO. STC 2020 FC is comprised of 25 boys and girls teams as well as a Junior Academy Program. Our professional training staff is dedicated to player and people development. Our philosophy and curriculum are administered throughout the club in developmental phases so all players are learning the same concepts. This consistency allows players to grow individually and promotes a common understanding allowing them to move seamlessly within the club. Currently our teams compete in the St. Louis Youth Soccer Association League, USYS Midwest Conference as well as local and regional events.
