Under the general supervision of the Assistant Athletic Director of Marketing and Creative Strategy, the Multimedia and Creative Strategy Coordinator will develop a range of videos that promote Long Beach State Athletic programs. This position will also serve as a backup to Beach Vision for the game day production of broadcast.
Collaborate with the Athletics external group to align with overarching departmental goals.
Responsible for all technical aspects of video production and post-production.
Maintain and organize all drives and archives of video content.
Serve as a backup to Beach Vision in performance of the full range of technical and organizational work to coordinate game day tasks for live Athletics events.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Working knowledge of full range of production techniques including sound recording, graphics, television, photography, videotaping, lighting, editing methods and equipment preferred. Strong video shooting and editing skills, good understanding of interviewing/scripting/storytelling, knowledge of content marketing and program marketing. Ability to learn techniques in the development of television, film, or multimedia productions. Ability to use and maintain studio, camera and related equipment. Committed to following NCAA, Big West Conference, Mountain West Sports Federation (MPSF) and Golden Coast Conference (GCC) rules and regulations. Education and Experience
Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of related professional or technical experience required.
Media Production Specialist II
The salary range for this classification is $3,515.00 to $6,358.00 per month.
