Assist supervisor in the cross-functional department efforts in the areas of Compliance and Student Services as well as other duties as assigned within Intercollegiate Athletics. Reports to Associate Athletic Director, Academics & Compliance Services.

Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:
Assist in the development, management, implementation and monitoring of all systems designed to ensure compliance with NCAA, Mid-American Conference and Athletic Department rules and regulations.
Coordinate cross-functional department efforts in the areas of the NCAA Life Skills Programing, which include social and personal development, career development, leadership and community service.
Monitor and maintain a record of sport program staff limitations.
Conduct volunteer, graduate assistant, student coach, manager, and tutor/mentor education and training.
Prepare annual report of athletic department outside income.
Prepare annual certification of compliance memo.
Coordinate the process of student-athlete employment requests.
Coordinate the process and record requests for community service, promotional activities, and athletic memorabilia.
Process, record, and monitor the following: recruiting forms, official/unofficial visit records, and playing and practice season records, and phone call logs.
Coordinate the process and approval of student-athlete outside competition requests.
Process sport team end of season updates.
Coordinate the monitoring of participation reports.
Process student-athlete incoming and outgoing transfer requests.
Coordinate the process and approval of occasional meal requests.
Monitor sport team annual awards.
Assist in the preparation and filing of MAC and NCAA violation reports.
Assist in the conduct of student-athlete and staff rules education meetings.
Maintain a record of educational efforts.
Research and deliver rules interpretations.
Provide functional guidance of interns and graduate assistants and/or direct supervision of support staff on an ongoing basis.
Perform related duties as assigned as permitted under NCAA and Mid-American Conference rules and regulations.
Bachelor's degree required in relevant field; one year experience working in NCAA Compliance through an internship, graduate assistantship or full-time employment at an NCAA Division I Institution.
