Head of Girls Soccer will be expected to fulfill the coaching commitments of the team(s) they are designated to coach and also provide oversight & support for all girl’s academy teams. This position includes 3-4 nights per week of on-field coaching & weekend game day commitments with your designated teams & further attendance of other teams as schedule permits.
In addition to the on-field commitments, the Head of Girls Soccer will be required to work as part of our Soccer Operations department with the planning & development of our Academy Performance Plan: this includes our soccer curriculum, training schedules, planning of daily practices, and individual player development plans.
As part of the role, the Head of Girls will be integral in the strategic development of our girl's academy's future growth. This includes our annual tournament calendar & playing platform applications.
There will also be team management responsibilities: game plans for all games, game reviews for all games & player evaluations throughout the season. The Head of Girls Soccer will also be involved in coach selection at the beginning of each soccer season, roster formations, and tryout process. The individual will also be expected to provide ongoing coach development under the overall supervision of the Head of Soccer.
Minimum 4 years coaching at elite club or college level
Playing experience – played at elite club level minimum
