McNeese State University invites qualified applicants for the position of Football Equipment Manager in the Department of Athletics. This is a full-time, 12-month, unclassified position.
Position Description and Responsibilities: Head Equipment Manager is responsible for functions related to the following:
Assists football coaches in ordering and purchasing football equipment.
Responsible for repair, maintenance, and cleaning of all football equipment.
Responsible for completing and returning all forms, lists and reports originating from the Compliance Office involving the football program.
Maintain competency with respect to knowledge of NCAA rules, ensures compliance with NCAA, Southland conference and/or institutional rules. Understand that actions that violate NCAA rules will result in disciplinary or corrective actions as set forth in the provisions of the NCAA enforcement procedures.
Assist head football coach and Athletic Director as needed.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree Required, National Certification preferred, experience in athletics equipment operations management, excellent communication and organizational skills. Position will require weekends and after hours work.
Salary Range: $32,000
