Assistant Men’s and Women’s Cross Country and Track and Field Coach
This position will be responsible for assisting in all phases of a Division I program, reporting to the Director of Men’s and Women’s Cross Country/Track and field. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to coaching, recruiting, and evaluating prospective student-athletes, home meet management, administrative duties, public relations, and other duties assigned by the Director. Bachelor’s degree, experience in competition and/or coaching experience at the college level, excellent communications skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel are preferred. Strong administrative background and skills preferred. The coach is responsible for conducting any duties or activities with integrity and within the rules of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the America East Conference, the University of New Hampshire, and the state of New Hampshire.
Bachelors plus 3 or more years' experience or combination of education and experience
Bachelor’s degree required; Masters preferred.
Three (3) to five (5) years of successful coaching or athletic experience, preferably at the Division I level, required
Possession of excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as organizational skills
Strong computing skills including database manipulation, email and calendar savvy, technological teaching tools, video analysis, and manipulation.
A commitment to knowledge and compliance with NCAA.
Dedication to the development of the student-athlete.
