Our Youth Programs The Red Bulls Youth Program is a multi-layered system that provides professional support at all levels of the game. Each level of the player development pyramid has been structured to provide support to players, coaches and youth soccer organizations. Within the local community, programs are offered for players of all ages and abilities. For players with outstanding ability, there is an opportunity to progress to the academy level and even the Red Bulls First Team. Purpose of this Job You will provide daily training to our part-time coaching staff and Regional Coordinators, directly driving performance. Your work will also involve assisting with youth coach recruitment, program staffing and coach orientation events. Additional responsibilities will include the development of curriculum content, partnerships, player assessment tools, online education platforms, training videos and management of external education. You will also work with our Regional Managers to ensure ongoing player development support to club partners. This role services our South and Central New Jersey coaching staff.
What you'll do
You will report to our Senior Manager, Youth Coaches.
Educate and manage coaching staff to ensure that the organization is represented consistently within the local youth soccer market.
Propose and execute procedures, programs and technologies that maximize the effectiveness of our coach education, player development and assessment tools ensuring we remain at the cutting edge of the youth soccer market.
Coordinate and deliver seasonal orientations and weekly training events.
Assess and mentor our youth coaching staff, this includes regular field assessments and educational support to help in the professional development, address shortfalls in staff performance.
Help recruit part-time coaching staff.
Attend club partner coach and board meetings to share information on our training philosophies and curriculum.
Your areas of expertise that matter most for this role
Minimum USSF D License or United Soccer Coaches National Diploma
Three (3) years' comparable experience working within US youth soccer as a coach, coach educator and coach recruiter
Reliable transportation to Clubs/fields in your assigned territory in South and Central New Jersey, Red Bull Arena and to different national coaching events and conventions as directed by the Senior Manager, Youth Coaches

About New York Red Bulls
The New York Red Bulls Youth Programs are the grassroots player development and training system for New York Red Bulls professional soccer team. Operating as RBNY Academy the player development structure is used to provide soccer training to young players in the local communities, support club development and to scout and develop talented youth players. The overall youth player development set up comprises a reserve team, academy teams, regional development schools, and grassroots youth training programs. The grassroots training programs are the foundation of our youth developmental pyramid and provide seasonal training programs and summer camps to over 40,000 players each year. Within our grassroots programs we employee over 100 coaches annually who work with players ages 5 to 16 years.
