Frostburg State University Athletics Department is accepting applications for a full-time contractual Assistant Swimming Coach position to begin August 2021. Hourly rate $11.75 with limited benefits package.
FSU boasts 22 varsity sports (10 men/12 women) at the NCAA Division II level that compete in the Mountain East Conference and the East Coast Conference.
Responsibilities: Assist the Head Coach with coaching and supervision of the Men’s and Women’s Swim Team. Help monitor and advise student-athletes to ensure academic success. Assist in evaluation and recruitment of prospective student-athletes. Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and one year of coaching or other related work experience. Previous competing experience at the collegiate level.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree and/or two years of coaching experience.
Additional Salary Information: Additional Salary Information: The following benefits will be available on an annual basis: *University System of Maryland Tuition Remission program. * Five (5) days of annual leave * Some Holidays * Three (3) days of sick leave * May participate in the State Health Insurance programs (medical, prescription and/or dental, etc.) that are available to State employees. Staff working 30 hours or more per week are eligible for the applicable state subsidy for medical and prescription coverage; all other selections are at full cost. If enrolled, premiums must be made directly to the State of Maryland.
