The Video Broadcast and Production Coordinator is responsible for the management and production of live broadcasts on digital and TV networks, as well as coordinating efforts for all in-venue videoboard productions at men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s soccer, volleyball and baseball. This position will also be responsible for coordinating all filming of news conferences, post-game and staged interviews, practices, games, other department events. The Video Broadcast and Production Coordinator will recruit, hire, schedule, manage and direct staff necessary to implement live broadcasting/streaming of home contests and events held in McCarthey Athletic Center, as well as other athletic facilities. The position will work directly with Stadium and the WCC to stream all home events, including the production, direction and staffing for The WCC Network’s Enhanced Broadcasts. The Video Broadcast and Production Coordinator must have the ability to engineer a video production room and equipment.
LIVE PRODCUTION MANAGEMENT - 60%
Manage the production of live broadcasts for the WCC Network, including scripting, live camera switching, and leading gameday student and freelance staff.
Create graphics packages and post-production work for in-game video needs such as score bugs, starting lineup headshots, replay wipes and other features.
Responsible for in-venue videoboard production during Gonzaga Athletics events.
VIDEO SERVICES ADMINISTRATION - 20%
Coordinate the identification, recruitment, training, and scheduling of student and on-call employees.
Oversee maintenance of all broadcast equipment, including production switchers, LED sign hardware, fiber conversion equipment, cameras, lighting, audio equipment, and graphics hardware.
EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT - 10%
Coordination with the West Coast Conference on requirements for WCC Network broadcasts
Coordination with Stadium for requirements on all broadcasts outside of WCC Network events
Work with Gonzaga Sport Properties on sponsorship integration for videoboard content
Communication and coordination with Gonzaga Athletic external staff for press conferences and any events outside of athletic contests
NCAA COMPLIANCE - 5%

1-3 years of video, audio, internet and technology skills in a professional work setting.
Candidate will constantly strive to improve the gameday and broadcast fan experience.
Working knowledge of broadcast and A/V production equipment and systems, including cameras, production switchers, intercom systems, routing systems, audio mixers and graphics systems.
Ability to rapidly diagnose video system and IT problems and provide alternative solutions as needed to maintain deadlines.
Experience with video editing systems such as Adobe Premiere Pro, AVID, or Final Cut.
Ability to work outside of typical business hours as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Experience with 3-D editing and motion graphics/animation techniques.
Experience with Daktronics LED equipment and control systems.
