University of the Cumberlands invites applications for a full-time Assistant Coach for Men's and Women's Cross Country/Track & Field.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The assistant coach for the men’s and women’s track & field reports directly to the Head Coach and is responsible for coaching sprints, relays, and hurdles as well as assisting the head coach with all areas of the track and field program including, but not limited to practice, recruiting, office work, and travel (must have valid driver’s license). Additional duties assigned by the Head Coach as needed.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. NAIA coaching experience preferred and demonstrated familiarity with NAIA governing rules required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work well within a team, and good organizational skills are required.
