The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is searching for two (2) Interns to assist the Compliance department in the monitoring of: the recruitment process and records for all sports programs, extra benefits for all student-athletes, playing and practice season for select sports and NCAA rules compliance for student-athletes and coaches. This position is instrumental in collecting and monitoring the Gator support club annual information and also handles complimentary admission documentation for prospective student-athletes, the families and high school coaches. This position also assists with data collection and verification for required annual NCAA reports such as GSR and APR. This is a time-limited position with an option for a second year if essential criteria is met. This posting closes on July 23, 2021.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Excellent communication, strong composition proficiency and strict attention to detail
The ability to engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds is essential
Working a non-standard work week which will include evenings, weekends and holidays
Bachelor’s Degree in a sports related field
