The Assistant Coach is responsible for providing coaching, recruiting, and administrative assistance to the Head Women's Lacrosse Coach.
This position is responsible for promoting the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics program, including adherence to all department policies and procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the university, the Pac-12 Conference and the NCAA.
Minimum Requirements • Bachelor's Degree • One year of experience coaching Division I or III collegiate women's lacrosse student-athletes.
Professional Competencies • Strong written and oral communication skills • Excellent organizational skills • Ability to work effectively with administrators, staff, and students from a variety of diverse backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications • Power Five intercollegiate playing and/or coaching experience. • Proven significant skill development of student-athletes both individually and collectively. • Proven successful implementation of offensive and/or defensive strategies. • Specialize experience in coaching the draw and goalkeepers. • Proven experience with a successful lacrosse program. • Active IWLCA Member.
