40% Serve multiple roles and assist as needed in technical productions for SECN/ESPN broadcasts and digital productions, with an immediate primary focus as an Associate Producer. Prepare and update game production spreadsheets for assigned broadcasts. Update ESPN/SEC Network Xpression graphics project files and other day-to-day content for assigned broadcasts.
35% Support internal and external video projects and initiatives related to LSU Sports Productions in-venue operations.
20% Assist LSU Network Operations staff with set up and monitoring of equipment and software for assigned productions.
5% Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree and at least 2-3 years in a broadcast production setting.
Experience with ESPN networks.
Special or Physical Qualifications:
Ability to work extended days, weekends and holidays. Position requires a working knowledge of Ross XPression, Ross Carbonite Black Switchers, Grass Valley Router Panels, Chyron ClickEffects, Hitachi SMPTE Camera Systems, Large Box Lenses, etc. Must demonstrate ability to perform tasks under tight deadlines, work independently and prioritize simultaneous projects. Must be able to communicate and interact effectively, respectfully and appropriately with diverse populations in the Department, the University and community.
