Salary and Terms
Probationary, full time position. Salary placement is based on evaluation of experience.
MSUAASF Range B. Multiple positions may be filled.
Appointment Date August 1, 2021 or a date to be negotiated

The Assistant Athletic Trainer provides athletic training services for the athletic department. Promotes health, conditioning and physical well-being of student athletes; provides first aid; promotes injury prevention, and facilitates rehabilitation programs. The assistant is required to perform many of these duties without direct supervision.
A Bachelor’s degree in athletic training, health science, or related field required.
NATA-BOC Certified Athletic Trainer in good standing.
CPR and First Aid Certified
Demonstrated commitment or proven strategies for fostering a diverse and inclusive environment; demonstrated ability or proven strategies to teach and work with persons from diverse backgrounds.
Master’s degree in athletic training, health science, or related field.
Two (2) years post-BOC Certification experience.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a diverse group of people.
Experience with acute and/or chronic injuries and rehabilitation.
