Position Summary: This position assists the Director of Athletics & Recreation in all aspects of the daily operation of the department. He/she will serve as a member of the senior leadership team.

Assist the Director of Athletics in building a sustainable environment for competitive athletic programs, academic excellence and student-athlete well-being.
Assist the Director of Athletics with the overall leadership and oversight for day-to-day Operations, Facilities, Game/Event Management and Championships.
Serve as a member of the Athletics Director’s Cabinet and participate in the administrative process of determining and working toward established Department of Athletics goals.
Be involved in departmental decisions, including facility needs, personnel, capital needs and game day experience.
Promote an environment that reflects inclusion and respect for diversity and equitable practices.
Oversight and management of the OFC Facility Manager and staff.
Athletic Team(s) Supervision. Serve as the communication contact for issues pertaining to sports supervised (i.e. parents, media, campus, conference, etc.)
Serve as a liaison to Facilities Services and vendors.
Serve as game administrator for home events.
Maintain consistent and reliable attendance
Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred (Field of Study: Sports Administration or related field)
Experience Required: Intercollegiate Athletic Administration or Coaching experience preferred;
Special Working Conditions: Required to work weekends and evenings.
