Executive, Executive - Associate Athletics Director
Administer and coordinate athletic operations including day to day programming, event management and oversight of the club sports program. Lead, develop, supervise and evaluate club sport coaches and oversee budgets. Serve as the director of compliance and maintain all NCAA rules and by-laws as they pertain to eligibility and recruiting.

Support the day to day operations of the department. Assist in coordinating, planning, promoting and operating athletic events. Make decisions for department operations in the Director's absence. Participate in administrative team meetings. Coordinate and direct all home event operations including staffing officials, hiring game day event staff and supervising workers. Supervise athletic events both home and away. Oversee all varsity team schedules and secure contracts with competing schools.
Serve as sport administrator with program oversight for: · Rowing · Softball · Volleyball
Responsible for submitting NCAA post season bids and oversight of NEWMAC championship budgets as a host site and billing and expense collection of championships. Manage transfer process and paperwork, self-releases, permission to contact and medical hardships. Oversee the transfer student process with regards to eligibility tracers. Manage preseason student athlete meetings and monthly staff updates to provide educational opportunities in the area of compliance for students. Assist coaches with program management to include game day, scheduling transportation and interterm meals. Assist new staff members with becoming familiar with policies and procedures.
Oversee and implement all NCAA rules and regulations to ensure appropriate NCAA compliance. Maintain all academic and athletic eligibility records for all student-athletes. Monitor all recruiting activity to ensure compliance within NCAA rules. Serve as department resource for NCAA/NEWMAC rules interpretations and clarifications. Update and provide NCAA rules presentations to varsity teams annually.
Disperse NCAA Educational rules updates and interpretations to coaching staff. Ensure the NCAA rules test is completed by department members. Oversight of annual NCAA requirements to include Sports Sponsorship and Demographics report and certification of eligibility. Serve as the Title IX representative for our department. Serve on the AAG working group within the NEWMAC Conference. Attend professional conferences including the NCAA National Convention, all NEWMAC Conference meetings and other meetings as designated by the director.
Organize and direct the club sport program. Hire and supervise club sport coaches and provide direct oversight to the club sport budget. Coordinate Athletic Hall of Fame nominations and all communications to the nominating committee as well as inductees. Plan the Athletic Hall of Fame event. Attend department and campus functions as appropriate. Teach in the ESS department. Advise and mentor Graduate Assistant coaches. Assist in the development/fundraising efforts of the department. Build connections with alums.

Bachelors degree required. Minimum three years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
Experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Masters degree preferred. Experience in the Division III setting preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. Ability to organize and prioritize work, take initiative, resolve problems and motivate people.
