Wisconsin Lutheran College, a NCAA III member of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, has an opening for a baseball pitching graduate assistant coaching position. The position is a two-year appointment with assignments beginning as soon as possible.
Responsibilities include: Complete necessary work to meet expectations/goals of the graduate program; Be directly responsible for position skill development in assigned area(s); Demonstrate ability to collect and analyze player data; Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate with coaches, players, and recruits; Demonstrate ability to improve coaching skills through personal research and innovative thinking; Execute and evaluate practice and game planning, including video coordination; Work with strength and conditioning program; Assist with all phases of competitive NCAA compliant recruiting; Evaluate prospective student-athletes through game, showcase, and video observation; Assist with the direction of camps, fundraising, and other program development activities; Assist the Head Coach with office and administrative duties as well as field/facility upkeep.
Programs available are Masters of Arts (36 credits) in: High Performance Instruction, Leadership & Innovation, Instructional Technology, Special Education Leadership or Transition to a New Career in Teaching.
The compensation package includes a $17,500 stipend and daily meals. Bachelor’s degree required. Valid driver's license required. Admission into Wisconsin Lutheran College’s Master of Arts in Education graduate program is required and selected candidate must successfully pass a background check.
