This full-time, 10-month, benefits-eligible position will function as a member of the Sports Medicine team and will participate in the Intercollegiate Athletic Training/Sports Medicine program in support of SUNY Geneseo’s highly competitive 21 intercollegiate athletic teams and approximately 475 student-athletes. The Strength and Conditioning Coach will work with all intercollegiate teams for strength and conditioning programming. They will oversee the workout center and varsity team weight room and supervise student employees.
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification from the National Strength & Conditioning Association
Prior related work experience
The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal, time management, organizational, and written/oral communication skills as well as a demonstrated commitment to professional development and valuation/recommendation of new techniques and equipment to enhance strength and conditioning services.

Master’s degree preferred
1-2 years related work experience preferred
Certified by National athletic trainers association – certified athletic trainer (ATC) preferred
