Muskingum University invites applications in the department of Intercollegiate Athletics for a full-time position of Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach. Muskingum University is a Division III member of the NCAA and a member of the Ohio Athletic Conference. The successful candidate is responsible to assist the Head Coach, Director of Athletics, and Chair of Health and Physical Education in the daily operations of the unit, recruitment, on floor coaching, film exchange, scouting, junior varsity, and any other duties as assigned by athletic leadership.
Candidates should possess a strong commitment to motivate, teach, counsel, and recruit student athletes within the guidelines of the NCAA and the Ohio Athletic Conference. Bachelor's Degree is required; Master's Degree preferred. Must have knowledge and experience with the recruitment of NCAA Division III student athletes; along with competent knowledge and intercollegiate playing experience. Desire to coach within the NCAA Division III philosophy and the OAC guidelines at a private education department and the University. Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel) is required.
