The Athletic Trainer provides athletic training services in an NCAA Division II athletics program as a full-time athletic training clinician. This role will perform evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries to student-athletes; assist with the organization of the services, functions and responsibilities of the athletic training facilities; and provide coverage of athletic events and practices.
The successful candidate will work collegially with other professional Health Care Providers such as the Team Physicians and the University Health Center, as well as the other Athletic Trainers. Communicate and work effectively with a wide variety of constituents, including alumni, friends, parents, faculty, campus staff and the local community. Must have the ability to relate to and communicate college student athletes. Travel may be required. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment. Working nights and weekends is required. Must be able to perform physical tasks necessary for preparation of competition and practices including lifting and carrying over 50 pounds.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: Master's Degree in Athletic Training, Exercise Science, or a related field; NATA BOC Certification, CPR/First Aid for Healthcare Provider Certification; Pennsylvania Athletic Training licensure or eligibility for licensure is required by date of appointment; and successful completion of a campus interview. Preferred Qualifications:
Three or more years professional experience in a collegiate athletic training or clinical environment.
Professional experience in athletic training or clinical environment.
Professional work experience with university student-athletes.
Proficient computer skills (Excel, Word).
