Cedar Crest College is accepting applications for a graduate assistant (GA) tennis coach who will be responsible for assisting the head coach in all facets of the position: practice planning, game preparation, recruiting, and fundraising. The GA will assist in player development on an individual and team basis, recognize individual talent for recruiting specific to team requirements through ongoing assessment of team performance, and inform players of their responsibilities, duties, and roles. The GA will also assist in the day-to-day operations of the athletic program including developing and implementing initiatives that best serve the student population.
The position includes on campus housing (for eligible candidates), 12 credits annually and an annual stipend of $4,000.00. Cedar Crest College is a Division III, four-year independent liberal arts college for women with 10 Varsity sports. Cedar Crest is a member of both the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC). A Bachelor's degree and prior collegiate level tennis playing or coaching experience is required. Knowledge of NCAA rules and acceptance in to a graduate program at Cedar Crest are also required. In addition, a valid driver’s license, applicable clearances, CPR, First Aid and AED certifications are required. Candidates must be enrolled in a graduate program.
