Minot State University is seeking candidates for a position of Graduate Assistant Coach for Baseball. Minot State University is a proud member of NCAA DII and the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. The position includes stipend and tuition assistance and begins August 2021, ending in May 2023. The position will have assignments in a wide variety of areas based on the needs of the team and the Head Coach. This position will be the primary hitting coach in charge of daily hitting groups, running the offensive portion of practice, and everything else that comes with the hitting coach position. Recruiting experience is not required, but encouraged. The willingness to be a good recruiter is required. Knowledge of Blast Motion, or willingness to learn is a plus. Experience working with infielders preferred. This position will also have duties included to but not limited to, recruiting, academic monitoring, running camps and anything else you can bring to the table for us is encouraged. We are looking for a growth minded individual who wants to move up the ranks of coaching. Good BP required.
The successful candidate must be accepted into the Minot State University Graduate School and pass a background check. Bachelor’s Degree required.
Additional Salary Information: Base salary in the first year of the Contract shall be ($5,000.00) annually and a tuition waiver in the amount of (18) credit hours. The tuition waiver can be applied to fall, spring and summer I semesters.
