Missouri Valley College, an NAIA institution which competes in the Heart of America Athletic Conference, invites applications for the full-time, 12 month position of Assistant Men’s and Women’s Cross Country/Track coach with teaching duties assigned according to qualification.
Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to, the organization, supervision, and administration of an NAIA track and cross country program. Primary coaching responsibilities will include the successful identification, evaluation and recruitment of academically qualified student-athletes. Other duties may be assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree Required; Master’s Degree Preferred in related teaching field with a minimum of three years teaching and coaching experience combined in a high school and/or collegiate setting.
-Distance/Cross Country background with experience in coaching/supervising Sprints events.
-Strong recruiting experience
-Ability to work in a diverse environment and demonstrating strong interpersonal skills while building relationships.
-A valid U.S. driving license and ability to acquire a Class C CDL license.
