Washington College, a NCAA Division III institution located in Chestertown, MD will be accepting applications for the position of part-time Assistant Men's Rowing Coach. Washington is a member of the Mid Atlantic Rowing Conference. The individual hired will be responsible for assisting the Head Men's Rowing Coach in all phases of the rowing program, within college, conference and NCAA rules and regulations with an emphasis on recruiting highly qualified prospective student/athletes.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: identify, recruit, coach and develop high level athletes for the program; organize official and unofficial visits; assist with practice and regatta preparations and plan travel itineraries; assist the head coach in all phases of student-athlete mentoring, fundraising, contest management and scheduling; and other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree and have previous collegiate playing or coaching experience. Valid driver’s license required as travel is necessary for the position. Strong organizational, oral, written, teaching and computer skills required. Advanced knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations preferred.
