The Assistant Coach, Women’s Golf will support the Head Coach with the organization, development, and implementation of a nationally competitive, National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I intercollegiate Women’s golf program.
Duties include but not limited to: •Assist the Head Coach with recruiting, scouting, coaching, coordinating team travel, program administration, fundraising and the administration of the team budget. •Develop and maintain effective interaction with students, colleagues, university staff, alumni, and the general public. •Knowledge of and commitment to compliance with all NCAA, Southern Conference, and University rules and regulations. •Dedication to full academic development of student-athletes is essential. •Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree required; a minimum of three (3) years of NCAA collegiate playing experience in golf or golf teaching experience is required; extensive knowledge of the game of golf is required along with excellent communication and organizational skills; and experience with Trackman is preferred. The ideal candidate must be able to travel both domestically and abroad and possess a valid Driver’s license.
