-Develop, create, produce and execute digital, multimedia, video board, live stream assets (across currently available and emerging channels) that yield results to grow Bronco Athletics brand awareness, increase fan loyalty/activation and revenue.
-Provide guidance and direction in Video Board Operations, live-stream event productions, website content management and other video-related projects.
-Direct event set-up and technical operations of video board and live stream events. Shoot, edit, produce and distribute video/audio content for in-house video board and live stream productions.
-Continually explore technological and operational enhancements that improve live event production quality and enhance customer impression of quality leading to retention and increased involvement.
-Assist in prioritizing projects; shooting, editing, producing and distributing video/audio content for usage across various media platforms.
-Coordinate, facilitate and be knowledgeable of needs/logistics associated with forming positive working relationships with outside production entities; local, regional, national media outlets such as ESPN, ESPN3, CBSports, NCHC.tv and others.
-Ensure high-quality results that positively reflect the Broncos, the University, and the greater Kalamazoo community. Ensure an enhanced game-day atmosphere that generates increased fan support and engagement.
- Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited institution.
- One year's relevant experience.
- Live sporting event or broadcast production experience in a control room or broadcast truck environment.
- Working knowledge of the broadcast process.
- Functional understanding of cabling, broadcast audio, camera operation, replay devices, broadcast switchers, and computer-generated graphics.
- Experience using professional video cameras and video editing software.
- Ability to work irregular shifts and extended hours, including weekends and holidays.
