Reporting to the Deputy Director of Athletics, the Director of Sports Nutrition will enhance the athletic performance of student-athletes by developing and managing sports nutrition programs and customized nutrition strategies; provide individual, group, and team nutrition counseling and education; and evaluate dietary supplements and sports foods for safety and quality with approval from sports medicine and compliance personnel. This individual will also oversee all operations of the Sports Nutrition Department including but not limited to budget, inventory, purchasing, stocking, and supervising student volunteers and dietetic interns.

Registered Dietitian with licensure in the state of North Dakota upon hire
1 year experience specializing in collegiate sports nutrition
Ability to utilize body composition devices and interpret results
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
Basic computer skills with Excel and Word
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Master’s degree in Health, Nutrition and Exercise Science (or related field)
