Position Summary: Monmouth University is seeking applications for an Assistant Women's Basketball Coach in the Athletics department.
The candidate would be expected to: serve as the primary contact for all recruiting; assist in the development of individual players; assist in scouting, practice planning, game preparation and coaching; assist in promoting an atmosphere of compliance, including, but not limited to ensuring all compliance records and functions in ARMS software.
Required Degree, License or Certifications: Bachelor's degree, Valid Automobile Driver's License in your state of principal residence, CPR and NCAA recruiting certification must be attained within six months from date of hire
Required Skills or Software: Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, Must be able to treat confidential and sensitive information appropriately, Must have an understanding of the University's concern for academics as well as athletic excellence
Required Years of Experience: 2
Other Requirements: Two years of basketball college playing/coaching experience or an equivalent combination.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Synergy Sport Tech system, League film exchange system and ARMS software. Evidence of ability and desire to work with a diverse student population.
