Illinois Wesleyan University, a NCAA Division III institution and member of the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin, invites applications for the position of full-time Head Women’s Soccer Coach and Faculty member in the Kinesiology, Sport & Wellness Department.
The Head Women’s Soccer Coach is responsible for directing, supervising and evaluating all aspects of the women’s soccer program; recruiting, retaining and graduating student-athletes; hiring, supervising and evaluating assistant coaches; monitoring student athletes academic progress; organizing staff and coordinating practice and off-season programs; assisting with public and media relations efforts; coordinating team community service; developing game schedules; and performing other duties as assigned by the director of athletics. Successful candidate will adhere to all rules of the CCIW, NCAA, & IWU and will fulfill the requirements and expectations of the Illinois Wesleyan University athletic department. Minimum of eight years experience. Previous coaching and/or playing experience at the collegiate level is preferred. Bachelor’s degree is required, Master’s preferred.
