Recreation Specialist III - Youth and Family Programs

The ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively, develop clear and engaging content to market programs and events and possess creativity and positive energy. Under the general supervision of the Recreation Superintendent the Recreation Specialist III will plan, market, supervise family and youth programs and events. The focus will be on providing high quality, fun and impactful programs and events in both the summer and winter. They will be responsible for administering all aspects of registration, participant supervision, direct the daily workflow of subordinate staff and volunteers, budget monitoring and cultivating community partnerships with a wide variety of non-profits, businesses, and school groups. The Recreation Specialist III will oversee up 3 seasonal and part time staff.
