Athletic Department Graduate Assistant - Coaching Russell Sage College

Anticipated openings in Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, Men's Lacrosse, Men's Soccer, Baseball, and Softball

Position: Graduate Assistant available for Fall and Spring semester and would include working 300 hours, $2,000 stipend and 6 credit waiver.

Duties:

Specific coaching responsibilities include: 1. Assist Head Coach with day to day operations including but not limited to recruiting, on-court or on field instruction, live scouting, film analysis, monitoring student athlete academic success and progress 2. Assist with organizational planning & execution of team travel, study hall, fundraising, community service etc. 3. Assist with equipment inventory & maintenance 4. Assist with in-season strength & conditioning 5. Assist with organization and coaching at camps and clinics 6. Conducts periodic in-season individual skills training as directed by the head coach 7. Know and comply with all NCAA rules and regulations 8. Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and/or the Director of Athletics

Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, highly organized, detail oriented individual; proficiency in Word and Excel required; previous experience in college athletic setting preferred; ability to work some nights and weekends.
